Solterra Sunshine, Solterra Resort Toggle favorite

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Home was clean and just as pictures reflected. We had one minor issue with hot tub/pool, but it was taken care of within hours of notifying them of the issue. Beautiful view with no houses butted up behind. Would definately stay here again!

Our family truly lucked out with last minute availability over Thanksgiving weekend for Solterra Sunshine. The layout is absolutely perfect for 2-3 families with teens/kids (bedrooms around the perimeters of the main floor and second floor, and common gathering areas in the center on each floor), allowing each individual and couple to have ample privacy but also plenty of opportunity to easily socialize and hang out. With 6 bedrooms outfitted with comfortable king beds, and the 7th bedroom with two twin beds, there is plenty of room for older kids and adults to spread out and sleep comfortably.

The house is fully stocked with kitchen/cookware/dining ware (including plenty of non-breakable dishes to enjoy meals and beverages outdoors by the pool), as well as more than enough bath and pool towels. The property manager was extremely responsive and friendly, and sent maintenance personnel right away (despite the long holiday weekend) when we ran into a couple of very minor issues.

The home is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, despite the gated neighborhood being busier and bustling as families understandable gathered for the long weekend. The community pool and lazy river were a nice treat and easily accessible by car or by the provided shuttle service.

Check-in instructions were very clear, from the security gate instructions to the key code to enter the home and disable the house alarm.

Wifi was strong and adequate - both my husband and I needed to do a couple of Zoom/Teams calls for work while we were there, and there was no issue at all with the internet connectivity (also no complaints from the teens!).

We used the washer and dryer a couple of times and had no issues - laundry detergent and dryer sheets were provided.

The location was also very convenient, less than 10 minutes to a large well-stocked Publix, CVS, and many other conveniences. We picked up a pre-prepared Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings from Publix, and reheated and served the meal easily in the fully stocked Solterra Sunshine kitchen, which made for an easy and relaxing holiday dinner away from home!

The kids enjoyed the games room in the attached garage -- ping pong, air hockey, darts were all a hit! Of course the highlight was the private inground fully screened-in pool and hot tub, which had pretty colored lights for late night family swims.

Please note to bring your own cooking ingredients (condiments Keurig pods and/or ground coffee) as well as bathroom toiletries. One other thing we had to keep reminding ourselves was the safety feature of the sliding patio door to the pool -- there is a loud beep when the door is opened, and you need to press a doorbell like button each time to stop the beep (you can press it before opening the door, if you remember!, to prevent the beep from occurring).

Overall, we had the best holiday getaway at Solterra Sunshine, and we look forward to bringing friends and other family members with us next time to enjoy the sanctuary -- a little slice of heaven, truly!

We enjoyed our stay immensly! The biggest issue was it wasnt long enough!

We had a wonderful stay here, the villa is huge. The outside area was best part for us with lots of space and enough sunbeds for us all. The pool is larger than most with a great spa and fabulous outdoor seating area. The games room was also a massive hit and we enjoyed family table tennis and darts competitions! Pat was a fantastic host that responded quickly to questions and the one maintenance issue we had was sorted promptly. We would definitely recommend this villa.

This Solterra villa was the perfect vacation home for our family! The pictures don’t lie, this home was as amazing as the pictures displayed. The size and layout of the home was very spacious and accommodated everyone. The furniture was comfortable and very good quality. I would buy this home in a minute. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated, all have TVs, ceiling fans and spacious closets. The 6 bathrooms were all fantastic, some with separate water closets and double vanities. The 2nd living area with game table and games room in the garage was a big hit and a fantastic way to spend time inside. The kitchen came equipped with everything we needed, more then enough of dishes and cutlery! The laundry room had additional cleaning items like a vacuum and the washer and dryer were in great working order. The outdoor pool area was perfect, the loungers, furniture, outdoor tv, ceiling fans and lighting were all fantastic. And loads of great pool toys! The property management team quickly responded when we contacted them about the pool spa not shutting off and the problem was resolved quickly. They were very helpful! We look forward to future visits to this home!

My family had a wonderful stay at Patricia’s home. It was beautiful, spacious, and spotless. Our favorite part of our stay was the outdoor area. It was very quiet and private. Perfect for grilling and enjoying the beautiful heated pool and spa. This home is great for families and very near theme parks and other Orlando destinations. It truly felt like a home away from home. A crib, pack and play, high chair, and baby monitor were all provided. There were plenty of bath and pool towels. The kitchen has a lovely coffee station with tea and coffee provided. It is also stocked with all of the pots, pans, utensils, etc that you would need. Check in was very easy and we were able to check in early as well. We look forward to returning very soon.

Beautiful home with a great outdoor space that provides a great amount of privacy. The house is in the back of cul-de-sac and offers a little bit more quiet than in the other areas of the neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were beautiful. The additional upstairs room with game table and XBox was a hit with my kids. We loved the pool and outdoor space. A great big grill, wonderful furniture and a large TV outside.

Let me just say we asked about putting up a Christmas tree. Halfway to Florida we realized we had forgotten ours. When we walked through the door Christmas decorations were right by the door and a beautiful Christmas tree decorated by the dining room they truly went above and beyond. Easy communication between the management team and I when we couldn't find the xbox information. The rooms were amazing, clean, and comfortable the heated pool was definitely used by my children all week. Definitely will be booking this house again! Thank you

We booked for 5 nights and ended up staying at this property for 9 nights. The home was clean and inviting. Plenty of rooms and space. The kitchen was well equipped with enough for a larger family or group. Now I saved the best for last...the pool and outside seating area was the bomb!! Super large pool, large hot tub and the pool deck is the largest I've seen in a rental property in the area. The outside also boasts a refrigerator and a outside TV. I will definitely book this home again! The owner and local management are really friendly and efficient. Thank you Pat for making our vacation a huge success!

This home was a perfect vacation spot for our family of 10. We all had plenty of space. The pool area was spectacular with numerous loungers, large spa and pool, BBQ, and table. The home was decorated beautifully with comfortable furniture and beds. Daily garbage pick up was nice. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes (both glassware and plastic), cookware, serving platters, etc. It was nice to have dishwasher pods, laundry pods, and cleaning spray for our stay. No details were overlooked. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
